Production friction materials

ESCOM s.r.l. is an Italian company which, since 1994, has been specialized in the machining of asbestos-free friction materials for drum brakes of cars, motorcycles, commercial and agricultural vehicles and for many applications in the industrial braking systems (electromotor, gantries, cranes, hoists, elevators and so forth).

ESCOM employs high quality flexible friction materials branded BERAL certified ECE R 90, produced in Europe in exclusive right for ESCOM.

For each different application, ESCOM is able to suggest its customers the most suitable material, by choosing among many mixtures of friction material, each of them offering distinct technical characteristics.

Thanks to many kind of precision machining processes ESCOM produces, also on drawing:

-CUT BRAKE-LININGS for brake-shoes, made of flexible friction material.

-ROLLS made of flexible friction material.

-BRAKE-LININGS for brake-shoes, made of semi-rigid preformed friction material.

-RINGS, WASHERS and other sectors on drawing.

-PLATES (sheets) made of flexible friction material.

-PLATES (sheets) made of pressed rigid friction material.

At present ESCOM s.r.l. holds a leading position, in the Italian market of production friction materials, as for both the braking systems after-market and the OEM sectors, by keeping meanwhile excellent and settled business relationships in the international market, predominantly in Germany, France, Denmark, Netherlands, Slovenia, China, Taiwan, USA and Brazil.
